Making sculpture is a form of intuitive play for me. I stretch sharp points and embrace elegant curves. I often use stilettos, which have long elicited various reactions from pleasure, to pain, to power. Through blurring, rebuilding, and embellishing stiletto forms, I create entirely new sculptural and psychological objects exploring the essence of desire, consumption and form. "Shiny Objects" is a dance between the political and playful.
